Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary or Class 12 from a government-recognized Board/Council.
Computer Knowledge: Candidates must possess a minimum of six months’ completed diploma/certificate in computer proficiency from a government-recognized institution in Assam (no breaks in qualification are admissible), and must have computing knowledge in both Assamese and English languages. Candidates must possess a good working knowledge of office productivity software tools, independent of any operating system (e.g., MS Windows, Linux, Mac, etc.), including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation graphics, content database, internet, and email.
Note: Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification on the date of submission of their applications.
Age Limit of APSC Recruitment
Age Limit: The candidate must be between 18 and 40 years as of 1st January 2024.
Age Relaxation: The upper age relaxation will vary according to different categories, as detailed below.

Other Details of the APSC Recruitment
Nationality: Only an Indian citizen can submit the online application for this recruitment of APSC.
Residentship: A candidate must be an original inhabitant of Assam.
Regional Language Proficiency: The candidate should be able to speak Assamese or other official languages or associate official languages of the State or any of the tribal languages of the State.
Employment Exchange: Candidates must be registered in any Employment Exchange Office in Assam.
Small Family Norms: The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying.
