Forest Department Recruitment 2023
1. Forester Grade I

Essential Qualification: Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
2. Forest Guard

Essential Qualification: HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
Other Criteria of Forest Department Recruitment
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit proof of residence /Domicile Certificate after publication of the final select list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.
Age Limit:
(I) Forester Grade I, Forest Guard & Driver: Candidates age must be between 18 to 40 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1983).
(II) AFPF Constable & Driver Constable: Candidates age must be between 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1998).
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.
