Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released an engagement notification for the recruitment of 2200 Faculty vacancies in the cadre of Principal, Post Graduate Teacher, Trained Graduate Teacher & Miscellaneous Category of Teachers in Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Recruitment 2022

1. Principal

No of posts: 12 + 66 (North Eastern Region)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years.

Educational Qualification:

Academic:

• i) Master's Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• ii) B.Ed or equivalent teaching degree.
• Experience: Pl check the official notification.

2. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

No of posts: 397 + 294 (North Eastern Region)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree with specialization in the discipline (s) / subject (s) with B.Ed Degree.

3. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

No of posts: 683 + 136 (North Eastern Region)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects and also in aggregate. Must have B.Ed. Degree and Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE.

4. Trained Graduate Teacher (Third Language)

No of posts: 343

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with Concerned Regional Language as a subject / elective subject in all three years of Degree Course. Must have B.Ed. Degree and Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE.

5. Music Teacher

No of posts: 33 + 10 (North Eastern Region)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Music from a recognized university.

6. Art Teacher

No of posts: 43 + 14 (North Eastern Region)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.

Educational Qualification: Degree in Fine Arts/Crafts from a recognized University.

7. PET Male

No of posts: 21 + 23 (North Eastern Region)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from a recognized institution.

8. PET Female

No of posts: 31 + 16 (North Eastern Region)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from a recognized institution.

9. Librarian

No of posts: 53 + 25 (North Eastern Region)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.

Educational Qualification: University degree in Library Science from a recognized institution.
